Enviva and Drax Skirt the Kyoto Protocol


Did you know? Smokestack emissions from burning wood pellets are not regulated in the Kyoto Protocol? This loophole enables large corporations like Enviva, the world’s largest manufacturer of wood pellet fuel and Britain’s Drax, one of the largest utilities in the UK, to dump CO2 in the atmosphere in the name of renewable energy.
