Overpried Biomass Power, Anyone?


It’s no secret that Dominion Energy Virginia, an energy utility company, is throwing biomass in the renewable energy mix – and consumers are paying for it. According to the Virginia State Corporation Commission, removing biomass from the company’s renewable energy program would reduce the cost of renewable power from $4.21 per month to $1.78. Our forests, Southeastern communities, and energy consumers deserve more.
